The club have confirmed that the Bosnian will return in October at the earliest
Arsenal left back Sead Kolasinac will miss eight to ten weeks with a knee injury.
The Bosnian was substituted during the Gunners’ pre-season friendly against Chelsea on Wednesday, and the club have now confirmed the severity of his issue.
In a brief note on their website, Arsenal confirmed Kolasinac has: “Sustained an injury to his left knee.”
They added that he: “Will be out for eight to ten weeks.”
This news comes as a blow to new manager Unai Emery, who will have been hoping for a full strength side ahead of next week’s Premier League opener against champions Manchester City.
