The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal at the Amex Stadium
David Button has joined Brighton and Hove Albion from Fulham on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old former Tottenham man arrives at the Amex Stadium for an undisclosed fee.
“He has a wealth of experience, having made over 300 appearances during his career so far, and I’m sure he will work well with Matt Ryan and Jason Steele,” manager Chris Hughton said.
Button becomes the Seagulls’ second keeper to sing for the club this month after Jason Steele, and he insisted he was happy to fight for his place.+
He told the club’s official website: “There’s a lot of competition in my position and I want to be a part of that.
“It’s something that’s brilliant as a player and at this level it’s normal – they’re [Maty Ryan and Jason Steele] both great goalkeepers and I’m looking forward to working with them and helping us all improve.
“Training will be a good chance to get to know the lads straight away. I’m told it’s a great bunch.”
