This is the first of Detroit Hot Radio’s Music Series for three great Wednesdays in the month of February starting the week of Valentine’s Day, at the iconic Aretha’s Jazz Cafe for Gwen’s Foxxy Wednesdays that is held every Wednesday of each month.

On Wednesday, February 12th, Detroit Hot Radio presents “A Pre-Valentine’s Day Concert” starring Al Lindsey singing his top hit “Cotton Candy”, “Making It With You,” and “Nothing Greater Than Love” and performing his new single titled “Do It All For You”.  Also starring Duane Parham performing many of his top hits including his newest hot single titled “Sugar Melts.

On Wednesday, February 19th, this show relives the remembrance of the Iconic, Legendary Artist, “Prince” performed by Obie King with his dynamic band “Weebone”.  As most will have seen in the coming Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince performed by many who give their contribution to the Prince Tribute, Detroit will perform its own right here in the Aretha’s Jazz Cafe performing songs to include “ “Do Me Baby “,”UpTown “,”How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore” and more. Obie King will also be performing his soon to be released single titled “Dance With Me Baby”, it will be a show you do not want to miss.

On Wednesday, February 26th, it the Jazz Fusion Neo-Soul House Voyage with Javonntte Garrett Performing from his Newest Jazz album “PrimeTime Voyage” and his top house titled song “These Words”. Also starring Jazz/House Great Dr. V. Shawn performing his top hits “Motown Union express” “Road to Damascus”, “Stone Cold”, “Night Visions” all Original compositions.

 

During all three days of the concert series of live performances beginning at 7:00 pm with an opening act and then at 8:30 pm for the main attraction.  In addition, there will be a service of food and drinks brought to by the host venue “Aretha’s Jazz Cafe”.

 

If you can make all 3-days of music giving the love of Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, House and even some Southern Soul, giving a treat of some of the greatest performance you’ll ever get to know in Detroit and are sure to leave you wanting for more.
