The former Crystal Palace man is back in the Championship after winning promotion with the Eagles via the Play-Offs in 2013
Yannick Bolasie has completed a season-long loan move from Everton to Aston Villa.
The former Crystal Palace winger joined the Toffees in a £30million deal in the summer of 2016, but failed to settle at Goodison Park.
With club record signing Richarlison making a flying start to his career in Merseyside, new boss Marco Silva sanctioned a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old DR Congo international was more than happy to have dropped down a division however, claiming promotion was the only thing on his mind.
He told the club’s official website: “My main aim here is to get this club promoted. A club of this stature has to be in the Premier League.
“I looked around both Villa Park and the training ground, and me and my family just said, ‘wow’. It’s Premier League everywhere you look.
“I’m here to make myself smile again and use all my ability to try and help the team. It’s great to be here.”
The flying forward has been halted by injuries somewhat during his career with the Toffees.
In December of his first season, he suffered a rupture anterior cruciate ligament injury which left him fearing for his career.
