French giants have reportedly made a move for the £89million midfielder
Manchester United have received a sensational player-plus-cash offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Paul Pogba, it is understood.
Pogba struggled to show his best form for United last season, and admitted this week to having “small issues” with manager Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman was an £89million world record signing from Juventus in 2016 but has been linked with a swift switch away from Old Trafford.
Now, according to The Sun, PSG have made an enquiry about his availability and are prepared to offer Marco Verratti as part of any deal.
Verratti has been a key man for the French club since arriving from Pescara six years ago, helping them to five Ligue 1 titles.
But new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel could now consider moving the 25-year-old Italy international on and the possibility of a swap deal for Pogba has been mooted.
It would be major surprise if United allowed Pogba to go this summer, however.
Mourinho signed Pogba with the intention of building his team around him and, at 25, he still has plenty of time to prove his class in the Premier League.
