The transfer window in England is now closed, but there is still plenty of business being planned.

Barcelona privately accept that Manchester United will not sell Paul Pogba this month but will continue their interest in the way they also eventually signed Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool last January. They are likely to return in January or even next summer with a vastly improved offer for the 25-year-old and will closely monitor both his mood and his relationship with Jose Mourinho. Marcos Rojo could be heading for the Old Trafford exit and a loan move to Fenerbahce. Argentinean defender Rojo missed Manchester United’s pre-season tour and was left out of Friday’s squad for the win over Leicester. (The Sun)

Aberdeen are closing in on a transfer coup with the loan capture of Manchester United striker James Wilson.
