Joao Cancelo in action for Portugal
Manchester City have been given a boost in their pursuit of Joao Cancelo after Valencia confessed they are ready to sell.
The right-back has just finished a season on loan at Inter Milan in Italy and he is ready to move on permanently.
Manchester City are interested in the Portugal international, who is valued at close to £40million.
And Pep Guardiola’s side have been given a huge boost as, according to Marca, Valencia are ready to strike a deal.
The Spanish club would ideally like to keep Cancelo, but they need the funds from his sale to reinvest in the rest of the squad.
As such, Valencia have told Manchester City a deal can be done this summer if they cough up around £40million.
