Sensational swap would see three players make the move to Old Trafford, with two Red Devils headed to Turin
Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Juventus over a potential blockbuster transfer deal, with FIVE players involved.
United boss Jose Mourinho is looking to wrap up the signings of three players from the Italian champions, with two wantaway Red Devils reportedly headed the other way.
Italian site Calcio Mercato report that Mourinho is targeting Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro in negotiations, looking to add depth across all areas of the pitch.
Meanwhile, out-of-favour United men Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian are rumoured to be the players on their way to Turin.
Brazilian left-back Sandro is at the top of United’s transfer wishlist this summer, as Mourinho looks to fill a problematic position at the club.
Mandzukic has found himself on the fringes and the flanks this season, shunted out wide to accommodate Argentine duo Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala, and could move to Old Trafford to compete with Romelu Lukaku.
Martial has struggled to make his mark under Mourinho after signing for £57m from Monaco in 2015, while fellow Louis van Gaal signing Darmian made just eight Premier League appearances in 2017/18.
The deal is not thought to be a straight swap however, with separate bids being submitted for each player, although in the case of Darmian the clubs are currently thought to be around £5m apart in their valuations.
They made a similarly dramatic deal back in 2016 when Paul Pogba rejoined United from Juventus for a then-world record £89m.
