The midfielder spent time on loan at Cardiff City last season, and has headed out again
Marko Grujic has joined Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan, shortly after signing a long-term deal at Liverpool.
The Serbia international spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, helping the Bluebirds to earn promotion to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has made 14 senior appearances for Liverpool since arriving from Red Star Belgrade in 2016.
He was selected for the Serbia World Cup squad in Russia, but failed to help his country advance from a group containing Brazil, Switzerland and Costa Rica.
His new deal at Anfield will see him remain with the Premier League side until 2023.
Grujic had also attracted interest from Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough, Torino, CSKA Moscow, Lyon as well as Cardiff this summer.
However, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was convinced Hertha was the best place for the combative midfielder to continue his development.
