Unai Emery’s men scored in each half, with Nelson netting a rebound after just 18 minutes.

The youngster followed in after Alex Iwobi’s effort hit the post and placed the ball home when it bounced back to him.

Aubameyang doubled his side’s lead in the 64th minute with his strike landing in the bottom corner of the Lazio net.

The English side then saw out the win as summer signings Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner made their debuts.

Arsenal have no time for another pre-season game and are set to kick off their Premier League season next Sunday.

The Gunners face a tough task against defending champions Manchester City, who themselves are in Community Shield action tomorrow.
