The real David Dennison doesn’t know how he ended up in Trump lawsuit

There’s “David Dennison,” the alias for President Trump that his lawyer allegedly came up with for a nondisclosure agreement to keep porn vixen Stormy Daniels from spilling the beans about what she called their adulterous affair.

Then there’s the real David Dennison, a balding 58-year-old from Mendham, New Jersey, who imports car parts.

“Yesterday I started getting a deluge of people telling me on Facebook, in texts, some coming from people I haven’t spoken to in years that I am the alias for Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels,” Dennison told People magazine.

“I would love to know who came up with my name. If you are going to use an alias, isn’t John Doe or Fred Smith better than David Dennison?”

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a lawsuit against the president this week, charging that the nondisclosure agreement was invalid because “David Dennison” didn’t sign it.

Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, obtained a restraining order from a private arbiter that he said prevents Daniels from talking about the president — a claim her lawyer quickly dismissed.

“Mr. Trump did not sign,” her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said Wednesday on the “Today” show.

“We believe that that was so that he could later claim deniability, and therefore, from a legal perspective, we believe she’s free to talk.”

The real David Dennison said he might sign the contract himself if Daniels would split the $130,000 in alleged hush money Cohen paid her.

“One of my friends said he wishes I’d sign the contract already. I told him if she splits the $130,000 I would consider it,” he told the magazine.

Adding to the overall weirdness, the real Dennison also knows a Michael Cohen.

“I happen to have a friend named Michael Cohen who is an insurance broker from Livingston” in New Jersey. “Is there any connection there?” he asked.

Dennison also spied Trump once when he was hitting the links at Trump’s golf club in Bedminister.

“I walked into the clubhouse and he was sitting at the dining room at a corner table, surrounded by a lot of people and talking loudly,” he said.

“And when we were down on the driving range he came onto the range and he was the king, holding court, being loud and obnoxious. I still would love to know how he came up with my name.”

Dennison’s wife, Cheryl, said she trusted that her hubby wasn’t stepping out.

“I wasn’t worried that my husband was sleeping with Stormy,” she quipped.
