The Fulham vice chairman and director of football operations went on to say the club have never considered selling the highly-rated teenager

Ryan Sessegnon will not be leaving Fulham, claims vice chairman and director of football operations Tony Khan.

The highly-rated teenager’s future at the club has been subject to speculation this summer – with reports emerging today that Tottenham offered Fulham Danny Rose as a swap deal for Sessegnon.

The west Londoners have not held back in their preparations for life back in the Premier League, making a number of eye-catching acquisitions.

Fulham will also be keeping hold of prize asset Sessegnon, with the club’s general manager and sporting director Khan ending speculation about the 18-year-old’s future ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

“We’re not selling @ryansessegnon,” he wrote on Twitter. “We’ve never considered it!

“I couldn’t sit back and read these false rumors anymore, had to say something.

“Ryan’s key to this @fulhamfc squad; he’s one of the top young talents worldwide and in our plans for @premierleague success. Come on Fulham!”

Fulham clearly mean business this season, having secured permanent deals for Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabri, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Alfie Mawson.

Andre Schurrle and Calum Chambers have arrived in loan deals and it is understood negotiations are underway with Sevilla for goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Fulham are understood to be active in the transfer market ahead of Thursday’s deadline, with left-back an area they are looking to strengthen.

The promoted side have not given up on signing Matt Targett, so impressive on loan at Craven Cottage last season, despite Southampton’s reluctance to sell.
