Wilshere is set for talks regarding his Arsenal future this week
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen on bringing Jack Wilshere to the club this summer, according to reports.
Wilshere, 26, is out of contract with his current club Arsenal later this summer but is set for talks to extending his contract this week.
It is understood that new Gunners boss Unai Emery wants to keep the midfielder at the Emirates, but should talks not go well, the Hammers are reportedly ready to swoop in for a move.
According to the Daily Star, Pellegrini is a keen admirer of Wilshere and is monitoring the situation closely as he looks to add creativity into the East Londoners’ midfield.
Wilshere failed to make the cut for England’s 23-man World Cup squad and a move to another club could represent a chance for him to reignite his career.
